Belgien – Statistische Dienstleistungen – Open call for Consensus-type Economic forecasts

Beschreibung

Consensus-type Economic Forecasts provide up to date and detailed survey of the developments of expectations of professionals on key macroeconomic variables in the European Union (EU) Member States and beyond. These are important input for DG ECFIN’s work on monitoring the EU’s economy and implications on policymakers’ decisions, especially the fiscal and monetary policy. Access to Consensus-type Economic Forecasts is crucial for DG ECFIN’s analytical work programme, and more specifically for sound economic forecasts, important background for the preparation of macroeconomic dialogues with the ECB, the IMF, OECD or national authorities, notes to the Economic and Financial Committee, briefings, speaking notes and ad-hoc requests. The winner of this Framework Contract shall provide Consensus-type Economic Forecasts, that is collect expectations of professional forecasters and aggregate them into consensus-type forecast measures on key macroeconomic variables. In addition, background and metadata shall be provided.
